Koala-T: Week 4

Week 4 of sketching Koalas is in the books. The post is a day or so late but I've got commissions that I have to do and the main purpose of this is to do something everyday which will hopefully wire my brain to create everyday! So far so ok. Some suck and I hate them but they are usually the result of little time or not wanting to create but I do it anyway no matter the Koala-t. Anyway here they are, there are a few I still plan on taking to another level after I finish my commissions.

Still at it boys and girls! Here is the last 7 days worth of Koalas. I haven't had a chance to any further with any more like I did the snowman but there are a few on the list to go back to. I am finding sometimes I have an idea on what I want to sketch up but most of the time it is just drawing a circle and running with it. Stay Frosty

Koala-Tee Sketching: Week 2

First Week of Koala-Tee Sketching

Always! Why is it that every time one gets motivated to do something life makes it super difficult?

First week into my challenge and my Little Girl gets a cold. Poor little thing couldn't sleep through the night and needed all my love and attention.Then when she was on the mend I was stricken with the same cursed cold! So with the flu and a few concerts it was difficult to find the time to draw so the first week is just sketches BUT I will hopefully go back and fix them up and make some little cartoons out of them. 

I really dig a few of the sketches and I hope you do to! Well I don't care if you do actually because this is about my motivation and creativity so as long as I keep moving forward I am stoked. My output this year is already beating last years output at this time a year prior so SCORE!

Yo, 2020 what up?

So it is 2020 now! Usually not a big deal as I have never been one for resolutions or anything of that sort but seeing as 2019 was my least creative year since conception I thought i'd give in and make some New Years resolutions. 10 days in and I have already changed them haha, The one I want to share on here is I am going to try and draw a Koala everyday. Now this is easier said than done as I have a toddler to take care of as well but I am going to give it a darn good try. I decided to do this after watching a video by Struthless where he talked about doing this exercise made him realize what he wanted to do creatively so I though i'd give it a whirl. I chose the Koala as I have had an idea involving a cartoon koala but i have never done anything with it, hopefully as this exercise goes on that idea comes to fruition. Here is my koala for the day and here is to more Koala-Tee work!

Wow, Haven't heard from you in a while

Yo yo yo! I haven't posted anything since 2016! That's a long time! In that time I've become a dad! Crazy right? My Daughter is Two today actually but it's 2 am almost and i'm trying my hardest to get the modeling chocolate finished for her cake. Just waiting for it the set so I was killing time when I happened to remember this old blog, Did not realize it had been so very long since a post had made its way from the tips of my fingers to the internet waves. My thinking right now is to start updating this here blog again BUT that was also my intention back in 2016 when I posted last and we all go back on our 2am thoughts a lot well at least I do.

So here is what I am thinking, I will start by getting through some of the art i've made during the break then after that i'll see what happens. I have some new projects in my brain that i'm itching to try so they will probably make their way here at some point if I do continue updating.
